I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO PARTICIPATE, WHERE CAN I REVIEW THE REFUND POLICY?

CAN I TRANSFER MY ENTRY TO A FRIEND?

You may transfer your entry to another rider for a $15 transfer fee up 8:00am AEST Monday 16 August (but the earlier the better). No transfers will be accepted after this time. Please email [email protected] to arrange a transfer.

I AM TRAVELLING FROM A STATE WITH BORDER CONTROLS (14 DAY QUARANTINE), WHAT IF I AM FORCED TO WITHDRAW?

Yes, there are two options for withdrawing:

1 – WITHDRAWAL – If you wish to withdraw prior to 8:00am AEST Friday 23 July, you have the option of receiving a credit (less 20% admin fee, capped at $50 for 6-stage riders) or a refund (less 25% admin fee, capped at $100 for 6-stage riders).

2 – FORCED WITHDRAWAL – Based on information available at 8:00am Friday 13 August – if border controls are  likely to be still in place up to the event dates (i.e. you are still required to self quarantine for 14 days upon return to your state) and therefore you are still unable to attend the event due to these restrictions… THEN you are eligible for a full credit or refund of your entry fees without any admin fee.

DO I HAVE TO ENTER ALL 6 STAGES?

No, you may enter as a Single-Stage Rider and select the stages you wish to compete in. Click here for more entry information.

I AM BRINGING MY FAMILY/FRIENDS ALONG TO THE EVENT, ARE THEY ABLE TO VOLUNTEER IF THEY ARE NOT PARTICIPATING?

Yes – we encourage competitor’s family/friends to get involved throughout the week by volunteering. This is a great way of seeing some great locations around Alice Springs. Please click ‘Volunteers’ on the menu above and complete the details. Email [email protected] if you have any questions around volunteering.

ARE THERE INCENTIVES FOR ENTERING AS A GROUP?

Yes! If you are entering as a group of 5 or more ‘Six-Stage Riders’ you are eligible for our group competition! The group/club with the fastest average time across all 6 stages will win $1000.  Please click here to see Group Entry details, including all terms and conditions.

DO I NEED TO CARRY ANY COMPULSORY ITEMS FOR THE EVENT?

The following equipment MUST be carried with you for all stages of the event (except Stage 2):

  • Emergency safety blanket
  • A First Aid Kit comprising at least: 2 x crepe bandages, 2 x non-adhesive wound dressings, 6 x steri-strip wound closures, 1 x triangular bandage and a pair of surgical gloves.
  • Mobile Phone
  • For the night stage you require front lights and a red light for the back of your bike

A limited number of First Aid Kits and Safety Blankets will be available for sale at Race Registration. Please pre-order these items via the merchandise shop to avoid dissapointment.

HOW DO I BOOK AIPORT TRANSFERS?

Airport transfers are available for $27 per person, per transfer (inlucidng transfer of your bike). Transfer bookings can be made through the entry system. If you have already entered, please email [email protected] to arrange your transfer.
